Was speaking to my German friend last night who I bought Whisky from. She told me that his half brother, same father different mother, was sold at auction recently for 60,000 euros! Apparently he looks just like Whisk, moves the same and has the same character. God help his new owners. Made me feel goose bumpy just thinking about paying that much for a horse. I hasten to add that I did not pay anywhere near that for Whisk!!

hmmm, i was also advised a while ago i too could be / am sitting on a fortune, talking about possibly ten times what i paid for my boy. the only thing it does is terrify me that he is going to be stolen, how much love must i have for him do you think for that to be the only thought............well apart from the smaller mortgage meaning a move even more rural.......

When I found out that 2 of my babys brothers were competing BE and being produced by Pippa Funell I thought Oh My God, I knew she was from good stock and that I was very lucky to have bought her at the price I paid - the woman who owned her was moving and I got her at a bargain price - I would never sell her though, so her value in £ means nothing really

My fella is not for sale at any price. He is here for ever. My old horse is 29 in January and I have had him since he was three. Money is not the reason I have my horses. They are with me because I love being around them and getting the best that I can out of them.
