i cried when i did this....

Thats fantastic news :D

I remember that feeling with Lucy after her first attack of Lami caused rotation in all four feet. Even before xrays the vets asked if I had the number for the hunt kennels :( I refused to give up and nursed her back to full health and the rest, as they say is history :D

Keep up the good work with your boy and hope you have many many more happy hacks together. xx

It is so nice to read a success story! My lad has been on box rest for 9 weeks following an acute attack of laminitis and rotation of all 4 pedal bones. Diagnosed with cushings a couple of weeks ago - felt like my world had ended! He is only 13!! He is now out for a few hours each day and is in heartbar shoes, on 1mg prescend per day. Thank you all for sharing your happy endings, the last 9 weeks have been so hard for my lad.

So, so pleased for you both. Having two sick horses this year, I can share your joy at getting back to some normality and getting out and about.
Nursing them through laminitis takes some dedication, so big hugs to you.

hes a very determind pony....hes on strip grazing over night, but swapping round soon out by day in at night... he'll only be out 4-6 hours... strip grazed...
