Well it was definately one of those days
Woke up to gales and rain so we decided to leave early to we could take our time, halfway there there was a huge bang from the jeep then black smoke from the exaust.
Phoned the hunt and within 30min one of the other team came along in her lorry to pick me and murph, had to leave my mum and my brother waiting for the AA, so we were on our way again.
Got to the show ground to find out that our male rider (rhodri), the horse he had been lent from one of the members of the hunt had come down with colic, poor mas was throwing himself all over the groud, the on site vet did a great job
So we went in as 3 with kirsty going 1st and 3rd me going 2nd and karen going 3rd,
Kirsty went in 1st and just had a wrong stride to the picnic tables so had a stop but flew everything else, then it was me. We jumped the 1st the sloping rails, went wide into the picnic tables so had a stop
, the 3rd was a hedge and the 4th was a water tray with pole and he flew both
, he knocked the style but walked through the bridge fine
, then we had a small brush and a small gate which he did fine, next was a choice between a 4ft gate or a small one, took the small one to be sure
, then the big brush, thought he was going to fly it but he did a dirty stop last minute
nearly fell of.... but saved myself lol jumped it fine the 2nd time
Then kirsty flew round with no stops and karen just had a last minute run out at the style, we were close.
Then when we finished karen realised pepsi was lame
And they say things come in threes
So it was just down to me and kirsty for the final parade
really enjoyed it though, cant wait till next time
