Whoop whoop!! Rode Mum's mare out again for the second time on my own again today........well it has been a 2 year break for the both of us. I'm so chuffed, much better than Saturday, but she's still a bit spooky. Loads of encouragement needed!!XX

It has been very tough yes. Axel(mums mare) is 17 now and i've just returned to riding after having my son 2 years ago. Confidence thing really. I wasn't so bad when I had my eldest (he's 13 now), it must be an age thing!!

I think it is an age thing, i used to ride all sorts of horses and back them when i was younger, i don't have the courage now, all too aware of my own mortality, think age does that to you and experiences!
