I’ve wanted to go to Adventure Clydesdale for some time and finally managed to arrange it. Wow. What an amazing experience. Polite sure footed comfortable horses who are cat like on the difficult terrain. The countryside was breathtaking the company lovely and Tim who took us patient kind and took photos for us as brilliant mementos. I’m already stranding another visit next year. If you’ve ever fancied it do it! They’ve struggled with all the lock downs etc and rely on volunteers to keep the place going. Such a wonderful treat.

Clydesdales are the BEST! So pleased you enjoyed it.
Just beware, clydesdales are addictive. I started out having a ride on one at Tim's old company (Cumbrian Heavy Horses)... then kept going back... then got one on loan... then bought one... and one clydesdale is never enough... and now I have 2 of them!

He still loans them out and will have one for sale this autumn! So tempting.

Have you ridden with them? Are the moors your riding area then? So gorgeous!

I haven’t ridden with them, my older horse is retired and my younger was put down a month before the first lock down, and hey, horse prices… but yes I have ridden on the moors many times and lived in Dartmoor National park for many many years. ?
