Well, I think I posted on here about one of the horses I was looking at and ended up passing on. We've looked at about eight others, none of which gave me that gut feeling that I had about my last horse. Until I drove four and a half hours through the pouring rain and found "Bentley". He hung his head over the door and it was instantaneous. I immediately said to myself "I hope that's him." He had the kindest eye and was so sweet, quiet and well behaved. He's two years old and is a registered QH by Dancing to the Blues who is out of Skys Blue Boy (SBB who has passed away, can be seen on his website, http://www.skysblueboy.com/ for any interested), and out of a OTTB mare. He's registered as black, but is either bleached, or actually a really dark brown, or is going to grey out, as both parents are grey. His personality is just so loveable, he's not pushy, or a pest, but he just enjoys being right there with you. I'm excited. Best of all he's well within my price range. I'm going this weekend to pick him up and bring him home. Until then, I've got a stall to renovate...I can feel my arms and back aching already!
