Went to the yard today with a couple of hours in hand with the intention of 'fiddling' with some of my lot, hoping to save time tomorrow as it looks like a busy one....but didn't get much done because:

William is 25, retired national hunt horse. He doesn't do much, but I'd planned on carrot stretches, steam facial (!), a good brush and hoof treatments. No such luck....

Decided to tackle Poppy, my daughter's old lead rein pony who has arthritis and is recovering from a bout of laminitis, so was going to get 10 mins walking on the lunge in the sand school, carrot stretches and a good pamper session. No such luck....

Right then, since I've got more time than I thought, I decided to take my horse out for a hack in the sunshine. "Hi Polo, mummy's here, wanna go for a ride?".....The look says it all....No such luck!

So packed it in and went shopping in Tunbridge Wells and had a fight with the stroppy sales assistant in White Stuff instead! Now I know I'm soft on my neddies, but you can't get them out of bed when they are snoozing can you??!!

lol how sweet, i have to agree though those beds look far to inviting to want to get out of!

awww william looks super comfy using the banks as a nice pillow. I won't show my boys, they'd be mega jealous (well and they would learn a new excuse to get out of exercise

)!

Stood watching mine from the window this morning, the big two were laid out and even with the binoculars I couldn't see them breathing (I had only been with them less than an hour before) - I just started the "they'll move in a minute..... soon...... soon....." walked down to the field and Ben begrudgingly opened one eye as if to say "go away please". So I did.

Oh bless them! My horses want to move to your place, it looks like some kind of horsey palace/spa/luxury hotel.
