I am soooo sorry to hear of your son's accident. What a frightening thing to happen to him, and for you to see when you first caught sight of the blood.

Wishing him a full and speedy recovery from his ordeal. Hugs to you too.......I know how heartbreaking it is, as a mother, to see our babies suffering.

Poor sausage, hope things heal quick, went over my handlebars when I was a kid, landed on my head and had stitches, still got lump and scar to this day, not nice.
