After a really good flat schooling session yesterday, said to one of the other liveries about doing some jumping today, now we are talking 1' high maximum!!!
Anyway, sent the kids into the school today with poles and blocks etc, went in, and found a mini course had been erected, Bud at this point decides this looks like fun schooling, grunts and bucks!!! Hmmmmmm,
got him warmed up and popped over a few trotting poles which were the scariest things ever and had 2' clearance immediately, carries onto a little cross pole and he popped it really well. This went on for some time with both myself and other livery having our mad half hour.
Asked children to make one of the jumps into a mini spread, pointed Bud at it and he capleapt about 3' off the floor, launched me out of the saddle and careered off across the school, i'm hanging on desperately hoping my backside will become companiable with the saddle again and trying to stop him.
Other livery was sat peeing herself, so I said to her to have a go, her horse popped it and at that we called it a night.
Taking into mind i've only just got back into the saddle again the week before xmas and now jumping, I'm hoping sanity comes back into play and I can go back to trying to do dressage!!
Was a brilliant hour or so and neither of us could stop grinning.
