I don't know how he managed it !

I got up to the yard last night and went to get my horse in from the field and he looked like he had some tape or something stuck to his front foot? It wasn't bothering him so I brought him in and on closer inspection found he had the front rug fastening of his friends rambo rug stuck between his hoof and shoe !!

I tugged but couldn't get it out, so rang my farrier who came out laughed and then had to take the shoe off to get it out. It was still fastened !

He straightened out the shoe and put it back on, horse is fine just a little foot sore

My horse is so accident prone that this wasone occasion when the injury didn't cost me a fortune so I can laugh about it !lol

If only they could talk. Atleast as you say he didn't cost you a fortune this time. Hope his friend isn't rugless and cold though.

One of ours did that exact same thing....couldn't get it out either as it was well and truly wedged. Amused the farrier at least!!
