I really am not sure what to do with tont atm
Sue, the woman I keep him with, has tipped me over the edge this time. She contantly ..annoys me with the way she says things such as 'oh, you don't need to worry about tont's weight' and 'aw, poor tont doesn't have his neck cover on tonight'. I mean, he was overweight and I was trying to prevent laminitis, and he doesn't need a heavyweight full neck when its above freezing!
Well, she's got one of her horses up for loan or sale, and my best friend was really keen to have him. Charlie had come and seen justin a few days ago, and had fallen in love with him. She was coming on saturday to ride him, and if she got on well with him, as sue said 'if she can ride him she can have him'.
So I get up the field today and find sue stood at the field gate with a woman and her son. They stood talking for ages, and I had no idea what was going on until the woman started saying 'so we'll come and ride justin on saturday, and then loan him and hopefully buy him'.
By this point im freaking out slightly.
So I wait until the people go before I ask sue 'what about charlie'. Sue then starts saying about how charlie only wanted to loan him and these people want to buy so im going to go with these. So basically she's just completely dismissed my best friend, doesn't matter that charlie wanted him first, and when sue was desperate for someone to have him, she's not even going to give her a try
I just can't believe she could be so rude, and after this I can't keep tont with someone who's going to treat my best friend like s**t
I just can't trust her anymore and want to get tont as far away as possible.
The problem is, tont has always been in this field with these horses and tont being tont, I don't know if he'd like being away from there. And, only a few months ago we spent £250 on a field shelter where he is now.
So, am I over reacting or would you want to move your horse too?
Sorry its so long, nicole
