I dont know what to do please help

i have had a leopard spot appaloosa for about 18months now
when i got him he had any been broken in 6 weeks before, never turned away and he was a stallion
he was fine when i started riding him
but about last november he started shooting off with me
when he shoots off he tenses his back, opens his mouth and lifts his head
he has a mexican nose band and a french link fulmer in
he is amazing on the ground and is really not nasty
has anyone got any idea what i can do ?
please i need help

How old is he now? He may have just been 'fried' as a young horse and finally snapped.

Shooting off like that suggests he's either in pain (saddle fit?) or frightened or confused.

Yes, re-post in New Lounge + also a bit more info would help such as his age, what work has the stallion being doing + why you have left it so long to seek help (this is not a criticism, just could make it harder to correct).
