Of this dealer.... I have Athlone Maverick *Who came over as Athlone webster* Sold as hunted handful of times to team chasing, eventing etc but owner found him so green he bucked them off and now I have him to back. I looked on dealers website today to see 'Athlone malvin' Do you think they will of come from the same place in Ireland? http://www.prestwoodfarm.com/Melvyn.htm Anybody else have dealings with this dealer? For some reason I'm tempted to ring, maybe finding info on this horse will help me find out more on mine? Or am I just being stupid?

From what I know Dermot *Athlone webster-mine* Came over last min to fill a box and this is why he had no passport *This is what they said anyway*
 
I bought my mare (the grey one in my sig) from Prestwood. I found them to be brilliant, totally professional. I know three others who have also bought from them with total success.... saying that, I know they have had a slight change of staff recently. It wouldn't hurt just to ring ??? Speak to Nadine or her Mum.
 
well the other horses they sell dont have the same prefix, except athlone ronan, who must be part apoloosa, but is just written down as a apoloosa colour, not breed. this dealer seems to be one that gets them to bring on as youngsters, but you could call them and ask where they got their athlones from. or they could be dealers that breed a few prefixes.
