Thankyou toffee44. He's my new problem pony. He is improving slowly but i don't think we'll be ready for showing for a while though. Unless it's a rodeo class :p ;) :D :D
 
I didn't ask her to do it she just did it the strange little mare :). There is lots of dry places in her field but she likes to eat the weed in the stream :rolleyes:
 
Well, whatever she's snarfing up from just below the surface of the water has got to be worth the freezing cold legs! How she never breathes in a lungful of stream I'll never know but she's clearly a SEAHORSE!!!!!!
 
She doesn't like the see B_o_f when i took her to the beach she spooked at the waves :p She did stick her whole head under at one point just up to her ears but i didn't have the camera going at that point :(. She does love that weed though :D
 
She's starting a new Ballet, it's going to be a little bit like swan lake. But renamed to "Chestnut princess, in the lake!" :)

Mine would be in there with her but not walking round nicly he'd be ones of those kids that splashes everyone around him!!

That's so her picolenicole she does think she's a princess.
When i ride her out she will splash everyone. Not always helpful when you are trying to teach the other horse not to be scared of water :rolleyes: But this time she was on her own and food was on offer. Her tummy always comes first :p :D :D
 
Oh Laura that really has made me laugh! It looks like there is tonnes of nice grass there (our field literally have nothing!!) yet she still chooses got get soaking wet and eat weeds!!! Bless her :-D

That is so funny, she was having a ball. Her face reminds me so much of my chestnut (the one galloping in my siggy, who sadly is no longer alive). They could be sisters. I bet yours is a character too!
 
Sorry for your loss oldmare. She looks full of mischife galloping along in that photo. Lucy is always up to stuff like this. She always makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face just when i need it. :D :D
 
Thanks montyandzoom. I remember your post about zoomy and water while xc schooling the otherday. If i took Lucy i don't think i would get her out of the water. :D :D :D
 
Ahh, a fellow horse-hippo! Mine loves water too. Drives me mad when he has his rug on though cos he seems to end up with litres of water stuck in the lining which swishes back and forth but doesn't come out :mad:. He'll play in freezing pools for ages, but god forbid if I aim a hose at his legs! :rolleyes:
