I was grooming today for my boss at a showjumping show, while she was entering a lady drove in and parked pretty close to our lorry (which is brand new) she unloaded her horse, tied him up to her trailer but right next to her lorry and went to enter. Her horse started rubbing its bum on the lorry and banged its leg on the step several times! Wasn't really sure what to do at this point as i can be quite shy when i talk to people i've never met! I could still see her, so i went over and asked her politely if she could move her horse to the other side and explained what he was doing but she just left and said she didn't think it was nescesary and we shouldnt have parked so close and we were there first! Her horse continued to do it and i knew my boss was going to go mental, but she seen me in a bit of a panic and asked the lady and got the exact same so in the end we had to move our lorry. I genuinly feel abit lost for words about this, would you let your horse do this???

What a rude rude lady, did her horse do any damage.

If even a scratch I would be sending her the bill.

No damage, she got away lucky! Was totally thrown back by what she said to me! I didnt want to seem rude and tell her i was being deadly serious or have to go and tell on her to my boss!

Enshrine of Tools, to much inbreeding in this country, she obvioulsy had no concience, no morals ect, got to be something genetic.........

I personally would have moved her horse around to the rear or other side of her trailer.. But that's just me :o When she returned I would have told her that her horse was fidgeting and for its own safety was moved!! If she then proceeded to move it back she would be told any damages from her horse would be paid for by her. Would have also taken down her number plate just in case horse did damage and she up and disappeared like a fart in the wind :D

Theres always one isnt there. I would heve said to her again to move her horse, or to enusre he never scratched pushed or leaned into any part of the lorry, if he did i had her reg and i would also have a witness to her allowing her horse to damage property so her insurance better be up to date or she'd be visiting small claims court.
I have a friend who always takes some electric tape and posts and puts a cordon around her trailer with signs saying its electrified, if someone gets close she tells them itll be fired up.
