I don't understand.....

...why my wee welshie, who picked up 2 clear rounds last weekend, sometimes fecks off after a jump!!

I took her to a comp last weekend and whilst our rounds weren't great in style, she jumped everything no bother, I had steering and she didn't take off after every jump so was able to set her up for each jump.

However, was jumping her over a wee cross pole tonight and she kept taking off at full speed afterwards. Eventually after many tries got her to jump it steadily and not bugger off at high speed afer it but don't understand why she does it sometimes and not others.

Any ideas?

Do you have lessons? I would get someone over for some lessons. Eyes on the ground are much more useful than any advice you'd get on here because they can see what's actually going on.

I would get her back and teeth checked. It maybe that something is catching every so often and causing that reaction.
