Just looking through my local free paper (not a horsey one, just general stuff) and came across an advert nestling between an ad for a 2nd hand sofa and an advert for boiler maintenance:

'Lovely Friendly Lawnmower

Miniature Shetland coloured 4 year old colt. Adorable, friendly, travels in the back of an estate car'

Oh great....
 
You know, this is just terrible really. I dread to think where the poor pony will end up!!

It's such a shame, as I expect someone thinks it's quite a funny statement, but someone will think that it will make a good lawnmower, and then......I don't even want to think about that!!

Back garden, kept in a shed, and being taunted by 100's of kids with a bit of rope round round its head no doubt.

Then again it may get picked up and land its self in very good home with knowledgeble people.

The either of the above can happen sometimes even if it was advetised in the correct section or took to sale.

Hope he finds a good home.
