I got Tommy's date he was PTS wrong this year. I normally do a tribute post to him each year. For some reason unknown to me, I thought it was September 25th, not August 25th.

But anyway. Just a belated post to remember the big lad. Just stupidly re-read all his old posts on here. Bit of a bad decision. Still overwhelmed with how much support and vibes that horse had rooting for him to pull through.

Thankyou all again, even 3 years on.

Thoughts and vibes to anyone else going through anything similar to what we were back then also.

Thankyou. He was the sweetest horse ever put on this planet. He never did make it to his HOYS classes for his debut.

He was about 18.3hh, but with a heart and temperament that size too. Truly was a one in a million. We've not managed find one to fill his shoes since. x

Just lost my lovely old cob boy on Monday, a right character like an amusing old man. At the moment I cannot see me finding another one like him either(I was looking whilst he was still with us, he was supposed to be the companion). So I can understand why you feel that you cant fill his shoes. I hope he has met my old boy and all the others and is having a good old run upstairs.

Yours looks a good traditional gentle giant. (My dog groomer tells me off every September and asks if I have remembered my spaniels birthday...I forget every year, cant even remember if he is 5 or 6??...I think she has a cake for his sister)!!! RIP all the animalsx.
