Hey everyone now this is going to be a really silly post but ..
On Monday I'm buying a mare and I'm hoping to bring her on and then go out and start doing things at shows when we are both ready.

Now I know that this is really silly but I actully feel really sad that the fact that the guy who I'm buying her from (private seller) is now going to loose his mare. It's so silly because he is the one selling her etc because he has another horse of his and he doesn't have the time for the mare but still. I'm just being silly. I was fine until he said "you know if you ever need a hand with her or any troubles or worries then he is always there if I need him" and I thought "awwww :(" haha how silly of me. I feel like a big meanie that I'm taking his horse :S haha. Probably because I have recently been on the recieving end of having gypsy taken away when I was so attached to her.

So anyways there is my little silly post over with and another note I got all her rugs today that I ordered from Robinson woohoo! Now waiting on her head collar and bridle to arrive!

Xx

oh bless don't feel bad, you should be super happy! He made the decision remember, at least you have someone to help if you needed it :p
I felt REALLY bad on the days leading up to buying my mare. Her owner cried and kept saying she "couldn't talk about it" and ran off the moment the papers were signed. I'd loaned her for two years and DID push for the sale (oopsy!) but
then passport was handed over and I realised she hadn't been vaccinated or wormed for 3 years and her teeth hadn't been done for two  she'll never be seeing us again!
So consider yourself lucky that he cares, and she's come from a loving home and start getting excited :D

Awwww bless i understand what you mean. But this is your new horse so be extra happy :p

I remember when i went to collect my horse when we loaded him up into the box his owner started crying and i nearly started crying as i am a emotional person. But she always comes to visit him and i ride her other horse for her every now and then. x

I know where you are coming from as the old owner of my horse was upset and my friend and I also drove off with him with tears in our eyes. But I keep in touch so she knows he is ok and she has been lovely and answered any questions I had when I first had him (i.e. does he normally do this?!)
Enjoy your new horse and be glad you can ask any historical questions you need to in the future

Aww don't worry about it, my horses old owners has had him since he was 3 months and we bought him when he was 5! She absolutly loved him and I update her all the time on him and send pic/ vids and she comes to watch him compete sometimes :D Do the same with the old owners just keep them updated :)
