just about to go and collect new horsey and I feel totally sick. Have been up all night worrying about whether I'm doing the right think buying another at my age, whether my lot will accept him, why am I putting myself through all this again, etc. etc. Pointless post, but really do feel ill about it.
 
Once you get him home you will be fine. Guaranteed you will be on here later saying what a star he is and how your others have accepted him fine. I'm sure you will enjoy him once you have him home.
 
Oh my God I am looking in a mirror thats exactly how I was 2 weeks and 3 days ago. I got so bad I thought I had a stomach ulcer and the first 2/3 days I had him I cried a lot in case I had made a mistake.
You will be fine and it will work out horsey people are made of sterner stuff otherwise we would be sat at home spending all our time on our computer - OOPs!!
 
I completely know how you feel. I am exactly the same when picking up a new horse.
Sure everything will be fine... your horses will love to have a new friend.
Hope he arrives safely & settles.

Gosh, glad somebody is older than me!!!! Thought I was the oldest person on the forum at 51!!!!! LOL

OP you will be fine, I remember being exactly the same when I got my mare eight years ago, I couldn't eat for weeks and lost loads of weight!!! It all turned out fine and I never regretted it for one moment.

I always feel just like that when I have a new horse arriving, sick, cant sleep, convince myself I have made the wrong decision etc!

After a couple of weeks, a bit of bonding and some positive rides I feel much better!

I am sure everything will be just fine - good luck and have lots of fun.
