I fell off today!

A friends horse, we just put them into canter up a lovley uphill stubble field, and the little bu**er put in the biggest buck i think i have ever experienced in my life! So i came out of the side door! Spent the afternoon in A and E having exrays and being checked over. I am okay nothing broken, thank god, just very sore and achey! Well i have only had my new horse for 2 months and have hardly done anything with him either, now it looks like i will be out of action for a while! How frustrating! Still at least it wasn't him that i came off of!

It is always better when it is someone elses horse! I am glad to hear that nothing is broken, you must be very sore I hope you are not out of action for too long so you can start enjoying your new boy.

dont worry i got a new horse 3 weeks ago, fell off my other mare on friday and managed to brake a rib.. bye bye jumping confidence and i was showing her to a potential byer at the time!
 
A couple of weeks ago i was riding with a friend and we was cantering across a field when her horse threw a bit of a side spook in so my very green 16.2 (long way up)decided to do the same,i managed to stay on although unseated and as i was trying to push myself back up straight he decided to turn and off i popped,as this is first time anybody ever fallen off him he was really scared and decided to run(i was still hold of reins) he dragged me about 6ft and stopped(thankfully). He was far more affected then me i felt quite sorry for him
