Well after several posts over several months on this site I have finally moved yards. Old YO was constantly money grabbing and changing the rules and I always felt put down. Was full of kids and never felt I could leave them in charge even though horse was on full livery. Well it came to a head, came back from hol and she asked me to leave and I left 2 days later despite the fact I had a weeks money left I could not bear the atmosphere.
I moved down the road to a girl who I trust and I feel so relaxed. Last night I worked all night and am back today and guess what I stayed in bed and got a good sleep and never felt the need to go up and check. How relaxed is that.
So thanks for all the encouraging things people said and even though the yard does not have all the same facilities I feel so much better and my priorities have changed. I am so happy.

well done, yards can be pretty funny places, i'm lucky horses are at home, but i have a friend who's just been through all sorts of hell like you, your not alone!

at the end of the day, your horse is your pleasure and nobody should have the right to make you feel otherwise.

well done. i moved in may from a yard where i'd been for 5 years but had become very miserable. i'm so much more relaxed and happy now

exactly the same thing happened to me was at a yard for 6 years and the yard owner was very money grabbing the kids were little snotty pony clubbers mummy did the lot etc now im with my friend on a private yard she treats my boy like her own and looks after him with her mare she is a nurse and is so kind tidy and clean on the yard he's out 24/7 which like with a big field shelter if i want him in he has a lovely big stable the other yard cost me £350 per month with the same things now its £20 a week how lucky am i so I know how you feel horses should be a pleasure and you shouldn't worry about them but i still went down to e him everyday at old yard, good luck.
