todays visit to a potential loan pony was sounding quite promising, quiet little 13h mare, been left in feild since last foal weaned 6 months back due to lack of light enough rider. got to see her and she is a sweet little bay with 4 whites & big wide blaze.
looks a lot younger than the 18yo gent had said on phone rode lovley but quite spooky & i put that down to the council bloke strimming the grass verge next to school. female owner turns up & is stood chatting with me about her Frilly (that name would have to go) so i mentioned how young she looks for her age & she said she thought she looked old for a 4o EEEP!! poor cow has been backed & had 2 foals.
it also explained the spookyness but also makes her less than suitable for our household as i just cant dedicate the time to bringing her on.
