I wrote a post on here a while ago trying to trace my old horse. Appeared nearly impossible as the yard had no phone number, and the only address was for a car garage!

Well after a suggestion to write a letter, I finally got the courage to send it- and today I had a call from my riding instructor who still owns Holly! She's in the same stable and in excellent health at 31. Best of all, I'm going to see her :D

I'm over the moon and slightly teary (in a good way) :o

Wish me luck, I doubt I'll be getting any sleep tonight.
 
Thanks, I'm slightly worried she won't remember me, but to be honest I'm just so happy she's still around and healthy. :)
 
awh congratulations!!
I wish i could find some history on my 1st pony, but only have one previous owners name & she didnt really offer much info :(
 
Well a bit of an update!

I went to see her on Sunday, she looked amazing for an oldie, she nearly looks the same as she did when she was 15 apart from a slightly dipped back. She's also slowed down quite a bit bless her, but we had a nice cuddle and grooming session.

I'm going down again in a few weeks just to spend a bit of time with her- I owe her a peaceful retirement.

Oh, and my instructor was telling me that if I wanted a horse share, her friend has an arab who may need riding on a casual basis if I'm interested! :D Yay!
