Got to the yard about 12 and 2 trees had fallen my electric tape had bogged off across the field and the horses who were out and all rugged were shivering misresable wrecks and even though they have grass were stood in corner, burts rug was wrapped around his head! So i gave up and brought them all in (14 to muck out in tghe morning now!!)
I was also extremeley lazy and boxed up to bring ponies in!! Its only a 5 min walk!!

Pointless post!
 
i havnt got a stable and mines in both her winter turnout rugs and this is only the second time this year she has needed them
 
god i dont envy you having that many stables to muck out!

we only have 2 stables and 3 horses and one stable is used for our rugs and feed etc so we cant bring ours in even if we want to!

this weather is making me really want to get some stables put up in an old barn, even though my mare won't walk through a stable door anymore, she's been out 24-7 for about 9 yrs and refused to go in now! but i reckon even she'd come in if she could at the mo!
 
My old boy has only come in 2 times this year but dragged me in today!! Its just awfull, they wont go out all week now as its meant to be bad, just go on the walker and have a little blast in manege!
 
Mines in tonight now! Had him 3 years and never seen him shiver - and he had a heavy weight on! Tucked up nice and warm with the clean stable rugs I'd washed in the hope I wouldn't need them again for a while!
