I give my pony a balancer so why is she eating bark?

As above really. I brought my pony in from the field and gave her, her usual feed and groomed her. She has recently moved into a new field with quite a bit of grass so she has a small feed and her Top Spec. Only whilst being tied up I noticed she had started so chew the bark from the tree stump in front of her.

Why would she do this?

Perhaps because she was bored being tied up or just fancied some extra fibre in her diet!

She is a pain in the bum! There are still piles of hay in the field that she hasnt touched. Will have to see if she does it again over the next few days. Odd pony
