Is it just here that it’s been raining pretty much non stop all morning? I’ve managed to hack out 2 out of 3 but admitting defeat for today now as I want to get dry!

The only positive I’m hoping for at this stage is that we get a dry winter this year because we sure as anything aren’t getting a summer! Anyone else?

Horrible summer so far

So grim. I'm fed up with it and rely on a bit of summer to lift my spirits to get me through winter. Its cold too. Feel sorry for anyone on a camping holiday or having a summer wedding.
Upside is, the ground is not so hard for the horses

yes I did think this about the ground, I schooled one of mine in the field today because the ground has a bit of give in it again now. Our ménage is being built but it’s been a long slow process with quite a few problems along the way and I can’t wait for it to be finished!

Raining constantly, my poor boy has awful rain scald all across his forehead that’s popped up overnight and he won’t stable on his own so I can’t bring him in

I dont want to do anything horsey, but I do want to lay on a sun lounger with a pint of icey juice and listen to an audio book.

Doesnt have the same vibe when its autumnal outside

Daktarin foot spray or powder will help and will protect a bit from further rain.
