As with all horses he wasn't perfect had a touch of thrush in his frog and so on but the vet said that he was a lovely, gentle horse who has an incredibley bright future ahead of him

OoooOOooOOOOOOoooh how fantastic! My friend was selling her mare and waiting for the vetting was so nerving, it's a massive relief when they pass! You must be so excited! Wish you luck and happiness with your new horse and new year xx

Congratulations! Glad he is going to have a lovely home. He looks a super type and very sensible and balanced for only being 4. That is a good start to the New year - wishing you many years of fun together!

! I found one at last. Decided not to go back to the certain dealers and the people i am buying this lad from knew them and were quite friendly with them but advised me to stay away...

Did you get my last PM? I thought i'd sent it but then said i hadn't replied to you and i ticked the keep a copy box

We attended our new girl's vetting and I think it is the most nerve racking experience I've had. Both the last owner and me were getting our knickers in a twist everytime the vet started to 'ponder' something.

My girl is 17yrs old so we weren't expecting a 100% pass, but we did want to rule out any serious ongoing issues. Turned out she passed with flying colours.

I think vettings are well worth doing, at least you go into the partnership with your eyes open - I accept that they are only a snap shot of that day - but they should pick up any major issues.

Can't wait for the pics - good luck for Monday.
