I got into trouble today

Yep, off my pony's old owner. She came to see him because it was his birthday

I didn't even remember, and don't really care, but I still feel a tad harsh.

Does anyone else make a huge fuss over their horses alleged 'birthday'?

Well as I dont even know when pickle was born Nope, but he tends to just share his birthday with my sisters horse, as when its my sisters horses birthday she gives him tons of carrots and mints and as pickles there well you know!

My 1st mares bday was the same as mine, so we both shared a little cake! he he

it was my horses 7th yesterday, all we did was take her xc schooling and made her feed into a cake shape, sang happy birthday and wrote it on the board, i dont really think that she noticed.

I allocated Maddy a birthday when I bought her, halloween, very appropriate!

Well it was Star's 21st last month - but she didn't get a cake, or the key to the door

, she got a leather headcollar (any excuse to ebay

) and a we went for a lovely long hack with Mum and Bel.

It was also our ten year anniversary exactly one week before

I'd better remember Bel's birthday, it's the same day as my sisters

I know my Shetlands' BD - 1st May, easy to remember, but we don't celebrate it as he doesn't like a fuss!

Don't know my girlies' BDn exactly. She was born at a bigger stud and when I asked her date of birth the breeder looked at me like I was nuts and said 'April - she was born in April'!!

i know my horses birthday because ive had him all his life, he was 20 on the 7 april

i usually get him (me) a present i.e. a rug or something

i only knew shortys bd as mine is may 22 and his was may 1st i think i gave him an extra handful of feed and a few carrots on his 13th unforunatley he didnt make it to his 14th

I remembered PF's birthday this year, but I hardly ever do (not that she got cake or anything, poor neglected dear

). I know A's birthday as well, but I never remember it on the date.
