Outside the field!
Those of you with good long term memories may remember I had a nasty fall on to the road when I was getting on to Gyp outside the field, about 3 years ago. I ruptured a disc in my back and bulged 3 others, they still cause me problems now and will for a long long time.
It has taken me about 2 years to be able to get on him without some holding him and today was the first time since the accident that I have ever gotten on him outside the field.
He stood perfectly and walked off quietly when asked. I'm so so proud of both of us.
We had a fab hack with only one issue, with a hoover. But in Gyp's defence how many hoovers do you usually come across on a hack?
