I have never really had a problem traveller, even Bertha who went through that terrible terrible accident travelled well, up until last night so had Oshk, he doesn't like travelling on the end of a waggon but on the whole he is good to travel.
Last night he set off fine, Bec didn't want to go as it was the Hickstead trials so we took the trailer as it was easier. Got about 2/3rds there and the coloured just went nuts. Couldnt find his footing, we stopped a couple of times and he settled but then he almost fell over so I had to unload him in the middle of a junction because the poor lad could not stand up. I can't understand it, I have always travelled him at that side and never before have I had a problem. We unloaded Monters and boxed them both at opposite sides, and I said I would stand in with him for the rest of the journey. Started off scrambling but then got his footing and travelled fine the rest of the way, I was a wreck though, it did really scare me and I had thought at one point he was going to damage himself. I only ever put back boots on to travel but luckily I had his OR boots on from because I was jumping himself, and he had torn his back boots to pieces on the bottom, I am so so so glad I put them on. Got there, sound as a pound, chilled as a cucumber and jumped absolutely perfect, followed by a lovely journey home, thank god.
