sorry this is going to be a long rant here i go : i hve my own yard until last year ive never had anybody on. i thought by having two girls on with a few horses it would be fun how wrong was i? first of all they hd full use of all 18 acres, until my mare foaled in may then i fenced an acre of one field for my two to graze. the girls went mad saying i was stuck up coz i wanted them to have there own field nyway things came to a head and they moved on my friends yard. two weeks ago i went to show and they were there slgging me off to any1 who would listen saying im o.t.t coz my ponies have the biggest stables on the yard(20 foot x22 foot) i know there big but hey! they also said im possesive and molly cuddle them coz they get muckd owt twice a day, have matching rugs etc. tbh i love my little ponies, why should they live in knee deep sh*t.n why shouldnt they have nice things. the thing is im now starting wondering weather i am loopy lol what do you think?????????????

I have my own yard, and last year i got so fed up by myself I got some one in to share the yard with me, and never again, it was take, take, take from day one. I hated it and regreted it, so I got rid. May be you should have just 1 sharer so you can build a friendship??? Hope it all works out in the end. Good luck xx
 
Dont worry bout it im exactly the same whats the point in treating them like sh#t??? i love my horses and i dont care what people think about how i treat my horses atleast i treat them PROPERLY!!! so do what you think is best and dont let any bitchy girls tell you otherwise!!!!! let me know!!
 
I think you have been very badly treated. Just ignore them, I think you are right they are jealous. If you want to have matching rugs etc. why not you should be able to enjoy your horses and it sounds like you are. You should pity them as they obviously have very boring lives

4 got to add they also owe £200 and wen i asked um 4 it they threaten to burn my place down, it go to the point i was sleeping in my stables!!!!!!!!

Too right you should have the biggest stables, its your yard!!!!! You are very lucky to have your own yard and these girls should have been more grateful you were kind enough to share it with them.

If I had a choice mine would have matching rugs too!

Oh, and I much out twice a day as well.

Just ignore them, green eyed monsters by the sound of it, just dont stoop to their level and retaliate.
 
If someone threatened to burn down my stables and I was sleeping there, I'd go to the police and have them cautioned and possibly have a restraining order put on them. Having said all that, I watch too much tv and wouldn't know if any of that was possible! You are probably better off letting the money go, keeping a low profile when it comes to them and counting your blessings that you are rid of them!

My lot have matching rugs, lickits in their stables, stable mirrors, marmite toast for elevenses, I leave a nightlight on in the dark and the radio on so they have something to listen to - now what's so wrong with that then?!
 
Yep some people just throw it all back in your face. We helped out someone who had been made horsey homeless and after constant slaggings off, 'borrowing', stealing, damaging our stuff and generally taking the P all for a peppercorn rent they finally went and am sure are still slagging us off to this day. What goes around comes around and am sure others will eventually see them for what they are and you have got your lovely yard back to yourself. We didn't really realise how bad things had got till we had sole occupation agan...it was bliss so enjoy it!!
 
If they are threatning to burn your place down, it is technically assault because they are instilling fear intentionally. (Assault doesn't need to be physical.) I don't know if you could get a restraining order from this (I am only a Alevel law student, so any other law wizzes out there correct me if I'm wrong). So maybe talk to the poliece. Did you have a contract for livery, i.e the money they were to pay weekly? If so then you could take them to small claims for the money they owe you (As far as I know, like I said, Law wizzes correct me if I'm wrong!). If it was only verbal then I don't know if you can get the money back, I'm not sure on that one.
Just don't let these cows get you down! You are better than them! I would go to the police about the threatning to burn your yard down!!
