My boyfriend has just informed me he is buying (another) new coat so I told him he has a cupboard full and can't possibly need any more! To which he replied....

And how many rugs does your horse have?

Dammit. I hate it when they do that!!

haha that is so funny, made me really chuckle :) you should say to him
" well you might need a few more coats if you stood outside all night, un like you, you have the choice of going into a nice warm house, or putting some gloves on when your cold :) "

you can always find something to say back lol

Exactly! They just don't get it! Unfortunately I was that shocked by his come back i just stood with my mouth open like a fish so he now thinks he's right! When will they learn

they really dont understand. although my ex was very good. He didnt ask all these questions, he didnt have a clue either lol, jsut did what i asked him in terms of the neds lol

OH no, you need to be quick when defending your neddy :)

My name's undertheweater and I have a coat problem. (And a rug problem).

I have non-horsey coats: puffa jacket, waterproof jacket, smart coat, down gilet, duffle coat...

Then I have my horsey coats: multitude of gilets, 2 Bronte jackets, reflective blouson jacket, reflective rockfish riders jacket..

I'm sure the list goes on.

I just can't resist them in the January sales...

Hahaha undertheweather that made me laugh! I went to a huge sale the other weekend. The only reason I didn't pick up any rugs because it was either Falabella or elephant sizes! No useful sizes left :(

Why worry? :D

I wouldn't, presumably it is his money he is spending ;)

I can't talk, I am teetering on the edge of going to see a horse, I already have 10 and certainly don't need another one, but I want this one ....... ;)

My husband would far rather I bought a coat, at least I wouldn't have to feed it ;):D

That's all well & good, but boyfriends can take their coats off if they get too hot... we need horse rugs for all weathers, temperatures, types of rain, day or night, stabling, cooling, wicking, layering, and then spare ones, and they can't take them off if they're too warm ;)
Oh, and the colour has to suit them too :D
