aran had xrays every 4 months. however when the joint fuses he will be sound and when you do a flexion test or lunge on a hard surface he will not show a lamness. with arans right leg the hock has fused. the spavin is no longer active. you can do flexion tests etc and he's fine. On the other leg where the joint hasnt quite fused, he can trot up sound, however if you do a flexion test he will show lamness. (last time he was 1-2/10ths before flexion, 3-4 after flexion).
