Ignore me. I'm having a moan :(

For the umpteenth time today, I went to click on a thread, looking forward to having a read, and the blasted thing moved!:confused::(.

I'm only nipping on here for a few mins today (spreading my usual rays of hope and good cheer.... ;)), so not being able to even get a thread open is driving me slightly more than slightly whappy!

Will have to go and drink tea, yes, it's that bad

The first thing I do is go to the bottom of the page and select "thread start time" then they all stay where they are - the only time they move down the page slightly is if someone adds a new thread. This way I can see every thread started since I last logged on - Result!!!

This is what I do BUT I go down the most recent page, and open each thread I'm interested enough in reading in a new tab, then click on page 2 and while that loads I start reading my opened tabs, closing each one as I've read it or after I've replied unless it's mega fast moving /interesting thread then I keep said tab open and revisit regularly in between reading other threads. When I've read my open tabs I go back to Page 2, and open all the new threads and repeat until I've got to where I was last time I was on/till I'm bored/till I run out of time.

This method means I can read it all pretty quickly.

Why is it that when you reply to a thread, it doesn't take you back to the page you were on when you replied, like if you were on page 7 of the threads BOOOOO

I'm with Mrs Mozart. I think all the 'contentious' threads hog the limelight, whereas the ones that could extend knowledge if they catch the eye of a the right person dissapear all too quickly.
