I sent off my registration and V's a week and a bit before christmas, with the hope I could have it all back so I could eneter some comps later this month.

Not heard anything back yet so have missed a few closing dates. Emailed them yesterday but still not heard anything.

When you are registering an imported horse, are you supposed to show evidence of date? I couldn't see anywhere saying as such so I didn't, but I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the delay?

Hmm don't think so , just the horses current age I thought. I should imagine the delay is more down to them being closed over the holiday period.

Oh phew, I hope so. But couldnt find anywhere stating when they were closed. I hope they are bloody open now. One comp has a closing date of the 14th of Jan; dont want to miss out!

Generally (not a guarantee) if you can get an entry form and fill it in and add a note explaining when you sent off your application forms etc they accept the entry.

hm I had my registration numbers from the previous year when I did it which might have made the difference.

Perhaps just keep trying to ring the office? They are usually very helpfull and you've got a while yet.

No, you should be OK to do that.
Ring the centre first to check, most centres take late entries.

It happened to me when I first afilliated........I borrowed an entry form from a friend, I think you can download them now, and where it asked for reg nummbers etc I just put 'applied for'.

If they don't allow you your chosen name, it can all be amended later.

Good Luck!

doubt it you detail will go through to BD who will check and see your registration application et voila all ok.

To be honest I think your 99% certain to get your details through before then though.
