This was my old girl as a youngster. I also though your current house guest was a boy as Amber was quite petite for a GSD. Wonderful breed but as you have found out they do rather like their sofas ?

Tempted not to but honestly not ready for a new dog yet, also she was a rescue and diagnosed with hip displacie and arthritis at 2 years old so there's too much heartbreak too early on with her ?
I think she will agree to let you sit for her again ( the dog will agree I mean)

Her owners said she often doesn't settle in other people's houses so they were really chuffed with her sofa pic. I did say if she didn't settle after a walk I could stay at hers with her but we have a very calming vibe in our house. Apparently she barks alot at there's but not a peep whilst with us, I feel very specialOh isn’t she gorgeous- I’m sure she will be back if allowed by her owners
