I have a new project

Arrived yesterday from Ireland. He is 16hh black gelding, only just been backed even though he is 7, very chunky and has has an amazing presence about him. Lunged him, and then rode him briefly in the field before going for short hack. Someone has been very cruel to him in the past as he is terrified of everything at the moment, esp sticks, but has the loveliest nature I think he will come right.

Anyway, boss has said he can be my project as my little cob went in H&H this week. I am sure there will be pictures of him soon

Think I will end up hunting him on new years day if he goes well betwen now and then so watch this space.

He is destined as a hunter, just the way my boss does things, he will go to the meet and see what it is all about then come home. Unless I feel he wont cope, but we will see

ETA: he has already hunted in Ireland a few times

All the ones that come from Ireland are as green as grass but already hunted a few times, madness I know, but just how they do things

Seriously I would love him, just rode him again this morning and he is so genuine, has a lovely mouth andwill be a super horse, sadly out of my price range

(plus the slight problem of having too many horses anyway

)
