I Have A Problem....with his sides.....

My 15.2hh Welsh D who i got 10 days ago has really odd dry scabs on his sides - He was given a 5* vetting by Jason Tupper - Head of the RVC and Jason thought it could be ringworm, so he was treated for it, however when jason checked him over again before he could be moved from old yard to mine he said it was more likely to be a reaction rather than ringworm. Although i have been using a fleecy girth sleeve on saturday i went out for a long ride and they had opened up, so cleaned them and sudocreamed them, gave him 2 days off. But there not bl**dy healing! anyone got any ideas or advice?

are they under the girth area then? camorsa cream think ive spelt it wrong is excellent but you will find the skin will be bare for a bit to enable healthy growth to come back so no riding for a bit.
