I have fallen completely in love with . . . a chihuahua!

I never thought it would/could happen . . . but I am completely under her spell.

She is a 7 month old long haired chi . . . pretty, sweet, funny and respectful and behaves like a "proper" dog instead of a handbag accessory - fetches sticks and mini balls, plays tug, is calm and friendly . . . be still my heart :)

I can totally understand. I had a l/c chihuahua dog when I was a teenager, he was a cracking little dog. He was the boss of all the GSDs we had, loved long walks and playing in the mud and was definitely a "proper" dog. His only down side was he did like to pee on peoples feet - including a policemans:eek:. Luckily he was a dog handler who thought it was hilarious.

I'm a big dog person really, but a friend has one, and it walks for miles and lives a proper doggy life. I was really impressed with it, a really sweet little thing.

I like them, brought up properly they are lovely little dogs, a good friend has one and she is so funny. I also surprise surprise love Pugs who is a marmite sort of dog.

i think theres just one thing to be shameful of now.........

you posted a thread like this without PICS!???!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

I had two chis over nearly 30 years. I may get another if the right one comes along. Brilliant big dogs in small packages.

I'm seriously considering a chihuahua as my next dog. Been without for a couple of years and always had whippets and lurchers but lifestyle now dictates a smaller dog. Was naturally leaning towards an Italian greyhound but am really taken with the chi's.
Mind you finding a well bred registered pup is not proving easy.
