I haven't posted in a while, but I'm just so angry today! A strange horse has invaded my field! The Carrot Lady calls her a Sideways Mare, which I don't understand---she looks perfectly upright to me! I think she's a Space Invader Mare, anyway, trying to come into my field with my Girlfriendmare, and I gave her a good telling off, too!

First, she was behind a biting fence, so I just did my best stallion trot along it, but then, the lady that came along with her, whom I know from the Ginger Trotter when we go for fast trots in the woods, so I'll call her the Ginger Trotter Lady, anyway, she opened the biting fence, so that the Space Invader Mare could get out!!! I really gave her what for then, and made sure she knows I can run faster than her and kick higher, even though she's a lot bigger than me!

I made a mistake at first and took the Girlfriendmare to the wrong end of the field, so that the Space Invader Mare was near both of the places where hay is put, but I soon fixed that, and changed ends. Several times.

But then, the Carrot Lady came back and put the biting fence back up! So now, the Space Invader Mare is in the corner with one hay place, and Girlfriendmare and I have the other, bigger hay place. And the bigger water thing (the small water thing, the blue bucket, got moved to the other corner this morning)!

And I got an extra blue bucket with food in, at a different time than normal! :)

For now, I guess I can put up with her there, in the corner. But I'm going to make sure I keep making ears over the biting fence, just so she doesn't get ideas!

This is her, when she was in our corner:

I think I must not have expressed sufficient outrage in my post!

Pippipony, do you really think we can get along? ElleSkywalker, will I have to share my hay, too?

How funny as they say twos company threes a crowd but the space invader looks quite pleased with those big tyres and neat hay pile installed!! And Guarding it with the butt end of course!

Well, indie999, she's not there anymore! She has the small hay place now!

ElleSkywalker, that is a potential advantage I hadn't considered. Her tail isn't bad-looking. Not as good as mine, of course (I've won a trophy for my tail!), but not bad.

Hi there SP,
I think your carrot lady will put extra hay out, so there is enough for everyone. The last time a stranger joined us, we all got lots more hay, to try and keep us occupied so that we didn't have time to fight! :p That stranger is my best friend now, although she does try and eat ALL the haylage (she's a lot bigger than me, so she tends to win :( ) The sideways mare might become your best friend, in time.
Did you have lots of the cold white stuff? We did and had to stay in the stables for a whole week  The Big Girl was glad, but I got a bit bored, the person I own gave me a turnip and said it is what the Spooky Pony calls a neep, it didn't last long though :D

Hi there Appy,

if you think that this mare being here might actually mean more hay, then maybe I should be a bit friendlier?

I will think on it. I just got back from one of those fast trots in the woods, where I get to see lots of friends and run really, really fast for a really long time! Today I did very well, although the Carrot Lady wasn't happy with me at the end. She got off to make me walk because she said we were going to be much too fast, but isn't that sort of the point of having a race?

And then she got mad at me again, because I didn't stand still for the Hoof Lady. Except the Hoof Lady didn't do anything with my feet this time; instead, she had an ear-snake like the Needle People. I got a funny sour orange thing later; it was ok, but I didn't want another one. I got an apple, too, and a bucket with some of that beet in it that makes you speedy. :)
