Who just had every reason to take a chunk out of me, and didn't.

He has been having eardrops for a week for a little yeast infection, and as a result his ear fur was rather greasy and matted, so decided to get the comb and scissors out and give them a trim (you can see where this is going, I'm sure...)

Long story short, goodness knows how I managed this since I was using a comb, but I managed to catch his ear:eek::(:o Poor little sod, he didn't half scream, but apart from that he hardly even flinched.

I was so horrified he ended up snuggling up to me instead:o

Poor Henry, I do not deserve him:o:(

Good fella and what a dote to reassure you!

I must be really lucky too, I've given my dogs and others every opportunity to nail me in the past and touch wood, they've just given me one of those doleful withering looks - B *hates* getting his ears done, he hits the deck and groans really mournfully, but bless, he still lets me.

You should have seen The Moo when I had to give him his eye cream for his conjunctivitis...........:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Big wuss pants...............;):D:D

Henry will forgive you:) - he only has a small spangle brain after all - but don't forget he maybe milking it as part of a cunning plan to take over your sofa....:rolleyes::rolleyes::D

Ha! Ears are the worst things to nick, they always look horrendous and the slightest thing sets them bleeding again! I've caught a couple before, however they were trying to bite me at the time so I didn't feel too bad :D

I caught my horse's ear before with the clippers, poor sod!!

I'm not sure why anyone let's me loose with anything sharp to be honest!! :o :D
