Henry's ears were a bit tangled so last night I took the scissors to them (please note - I was stone cold sober).

This morning I can see - I have given him a little bald spot

Will he ever forgive me?

I did the same to Kira (my spangle before Sweep) once. I was chopping tangly feathers of her legs and went a bit far......she was a bit lopsided until she was properly clipped. As she was the Queeen of the Death Stare I wasn't forgiven quickly..........
