I have registered with the BSJA

Just have a few questions....

Do you think i will look silly? I will be on a 14.1 jumping Senoirs? How many small horses/large ponies jump in senoirs or are they all 16hand plus jobs?

Also what sort of hieght are the classes? I have been told that sometimes the jumps are biult bigger at county shows than 'normal' ones?

Well Done, no you won't look silly. TBH you'll have an advantage as you'll be able to cut corners and save a lot of time. Just go for it and show all those 16handers up!

No you won't look silly, there are a lot of smaller horses doing BSJA. County Shows only tend to have classes from 1.20 upwards as it is there to please the crowds - and by the time you are jumping 1.20 courses it will look alright. You can start at 90cm (although some shows start smaller) and go up as big as you want

Just go out & enjoy yourself.....if you've neem jumping correct heights at shows before you affiliated you should be alright. Most people find that the speard on BSJA fences are large, butn they're built as they should be.

Good for you, I have seen that horses jump and theres no way you will look silly. You will show all the big 'uns up!

i,ve jumped ponies in senior classes. Yes i've been taken the piss out of! however they soon stop when you show em how its done!!!
