I went to view a horse yesterday and I did exactly what you shouldn't do. I've fallen in love!! (this will be my first horse)
Though I am keeping my head about this ie purchase is subject to vet check and should she fail then I will not be buying her, I ahve arranged a 5 * vet check with independant vets. I am never the less over the moon,
I do have a question for all your experienced horse owners out there and that is I have got to transport her about 2 hours up the road, I am going to hire a van for this, but I have no horse equipment at all and she comes as is no tack or rugs.
I have been around horses long enough to know that we can molly coddle them a bit and threre is a tendancey to sometimes be over cautious but I would like to ask, what are the minumum requirements I am going to need and do to transport her here without turning up at the yard looking like a complete novice??
I should add that i am getting her from a business that deals with international import and export of horses and I don't want to look silly or unknowledgable HELP!!
