Just seen the recording of the documentary that was on last night.. looks truely amazing and I even felt the sadness from watching people in wooden frames prancing about! Wow - anyone else see it last night or seen it in real on stage?

I'm going in December! I just read the book though and cried all the way through, so may look a bit silly walking around London after the play! Am taking my two boys - will they be ashamed of me!?

I read it when I was younger, and cried for hours!
My dad has been begging me to see it with him next time I'm in the UK, but I don't want to show him up by crying!

Think it was on something like MORE4 at 8pm last night - same time as X Factor - hence why i recorded it.
Its a theatrical performance (play i suppose), but I really enjoy them. I saw Lion King 3 times!

I went in October. It was really good, the puppets are amazing although the boy saying "jooooeey" got a bit annoying!

Would have been nicer if the person two seats down hadn't have spent half the show watching to see if I was blubbing again

or if the person behind me hadn't got seriously starstruck by recognising the maid from Larkrise to candleford.....15 mins of her saying "It is her...I should know I have the entire box set!" "She's my favourite actress, I watched every episode!" was extremely annoying...maybe I have no tolerance!

I went last Christmas and it truly is amazing - I'd read the book before going and knew I was going to cry so made sure I wore the waterproof mascara

The way the puppets move (the actors actually sit on the full size horses) is incredible, so lifelike - I missed the documentary last night but they obviously spent a while studying horses to get it right
