Oh, I think I made that discovery a long time ago - I sometimes need to be tied down in the shooting season!

(which is another thread entirely...!)

My Oh would look like a total plonker in a tweed jacket. so we will stear well clear. He looks much better in a Stoke City shirt lol. =oP

But some men in tweeds are rather yummy yes,

Uhoh..... does this mean the mancandy thread tonight is going to be full of tweed? Try and find Karl Urban/Chris Pine/ Zachary Quinto in tweed and all will be well! lol

my OH is very posh and looks amazing in tweed!

He dresses like a 60 man in hunting season but its hot! lol
I do like the farmer/shooting/rich estate owner look! hehe.

I love it in the winter when hes out all dressed up followed by two nice labby gun dogs... only thing that ruins the pic is my silly curly dog following making him look a a bit fem!

PMSL - you lot need a cold shower

My OH looks great in a suit , but not so good casual . I only do casual , so we must look a right pair !

Tweed? Can you get it in black? LOL.....I prefer the black haired vampire type man. Good thing really since I married one. But you should see the looks we get at horse shows. Especially places like Olympia where people wear jods to pretend they have a horse and look down at us dressed all in black - even though it just jackets and trousers lol. But then, people are all different. I'd have nightmares if I thought I'd have to wear pastel colours

I'm all about the scruffy jeans, hardcore metal or soppy emo t-shirts, floppy hair and glasses. *dreamy sigh* I couldn't stand a man in tweed, for goodness sakes, I'm not in heartbeat now! What a plonker.

Glad I'm not the only one that's noticed the pristine jodhs brigade at shows! I've always thought it odd how many people turn up wearing jodhs even though they aren't competing - why??? Even if you've been riding first it takes two minutes to stick a pair of jeans on.

Agree about a man in tweed, have discovered since meeting my husband that men in Jodhs are rather lovely too.......

As long as they fill them though!

I like a man to be a real man, not afraid to get his hand dirty ir hunting or heavy work. I cant be doing with suits unless its a ball of course

He is a real man & anyone who says he isn't will get hit with my handbag
grin.gif

He's not horsy & wears a suit for work

I'll forgive ya , providing we can go halves on the Jimmy Choo Hunters . I'm a size 3 or 4 depending on make & we live quite near to each other
