I was out in the garden with Otto, doing a spot of weeding (Oh yes, I am green fingered! :D) Otto was running around like a loon doing his own thing when he spotted the farm dogs charging around and the ducks heading in his general direction. It all got a bit much for him and he jumped out.

I yelled 'Otto, NOOOOOO!!' as we all know what happens when Otto gets near anything feathered....

Didn't hold much hope and leapt the fence after him, when to my surprise he stopped, turned and ran back, even going so far as to jump back into the garden!!:eek:

Not sure if it was the exertion of leaping the fence or the shock of him being so well behaved, but had I had a chair I would have definately fallen off it :D

Bless him, he should be careful, he is running the risk of becoming well behaved!! :D

You sure someone hasn't stolen Otto and put a ringer in his place.;)
Seriously, very impressive, you see all the training does pay off eventually, I felt the same when Evie stopped and came back from chasing a fox, bloomin miracle. But isn't it great when it happens.:)

Woohoo at Otto!

Woohoo at somebody who says she doesn't do running, clears a fence just like that!

;) Maybe you need to gene test him to check so that he is not a undercover dog in Spangle disguise?

:D

Should I mention that the fence is only about 3ft high?? :o :D

It's funny you should say that, I met some stunning Large Munsterlanders at Crufts the other day, and I'm starting to wonder if Otto's Mum was frightened by one, they are the spitting image of him just a bit bigger. Not that a HPR would be any better behaved than a Spangle mind you! :D

And he's definitely 100% Spangle?! :o ;)

I bow down to your training skill :D and am going to find where you live and send you my two feather crazy loonies!! ;)

Yay! Good boy Otto! I'm not suprised you are in shock!
Oh and your spangle is probably far better behaved then my HPR so he can't be a munsterlander cross :p

 Well Done Otto! He's defo been swapped or lobotomised (that's not a real word is it? Fun to say though :p)

But...biggest well done to you! If that had been me, there would have been a scene worthy of Attenborough...

Not a gazelle or a deer effortlessly clearing a fence...

but a disgruntled warthog.

Face down.

In a flowerbed.

Swearing profusely! :p :D
