For the first year ever, I actually have a xmas with my horses with me!

I always go home to the parents for a fortnight for xmas/new year, which means leaving the horses on livery at work back home usually. [Or prior to moving out , I had my pony at college with me who I didn't do in holidays/weekends so again, never had her home for xmas back then]

But this year I took them back home with me! :D :D

Arrived late as the roads were awful and monsoon-ing it down...but finally got there and they're both snuggled up happily in their stables :) So pleased with the little baby lad! Was his first trip properly anywhere travelling and he loaded and travelled with a fuss, got there, led him out in the pitch black, down a over flooded boggy track and not even a hesitation once! And my other bay lad was perfect as normal and equally content with his new home for the holidays. [Though I wasn't sure where my straw was and didn't want to take anyone elses.....so they're both on a solely hay bed tonight! They didn't seem too appalled by that hahahaha. Fat piglets....]

Anyway....just a happy post! Get to have my 2 favourite boys home with me :) No pining or worrying about them now, as they're just down the road! :D :D :D I shall get photos :)

Very jealous. I have also never seen my horses at Christmas and this year is no different. I'm off to get them in at lunch time and then I won't see them again until Tuesday :(

They obviously don't care. Their lovely auntie K is doing them and I think they like her more than me anyway!! :D

Thankyou :D

He's up waaaay before me! And he's the chef of the house.....He'd rather cook me breakfast than me 'experiment' and cook him something, much safer haha!!!!!

A few snaps of one of the baby neddy today, who is absolutely priceless at the moment for how chilled he is! He couldn't care less. He had to be left on his own stabled when I went out riding on mine, and not a squeak from him! Lobbed a few carrots in and gave hi a hug before we went, and he couldn't have cared less about being the only one in stabled [when this is his first time in a 'proper' stable too...he's only ever been in pens/barn/field.]

Bless him!

My other horse is good as gold as normal. Took him for a quick spin round earlier and he's finding being a 'surburbia' neddy rather strange! He's not used to hacking round housing estates haha....so bemused yes, but quiet as usual!

I may take the baby hoss out for a little wander round the town whilst we're here and make the most of making him even quieter haha! :)
