I did my stall at Burton hunt, hunter trials today.

At the end I was packing my kit away and cut my self on a knife. I could not stop it bleeding so I went to the first adiers that were hanging around the marquee and asked for a plaster!!!!

They dutifully informed me that they had not had a call all day, and that my injury was the first, OOOHHHH THE SHAME :D

At least I gave them somthing to do!!!!!!!!!!

I did something similar at Polocrosse a month or so ago- Saturday morning after first game got back to the pen and while I was untacking I slapped myself in the eyeball with the strap from the breastplate! After I had untacked/unbandaged/sponged off my horse (all with one eye closed) I found my way over to the (bored) paramedics who checked me over and assisted me for half an hour or so to finally say "yeah, you're fine, no damage there". Every time I passed them from that moment on they would WINK at me and ask how I was. Shamefull. :(

I cut my finger open on a nail whilst walking my friends dog around the cross-country course - well the dog walked me really! It dragged me across the water whilst I desperately clung to the small footbridge thus dragging my hand over aforementioned nail. The medic van was close by so friend persuaded me to visit - Ive never seen someone get so excited oversuch a small wound - it was luckily a slow day for them. The bonus was he was very good looking - I feel a faint coming on :D

I got stung by a wasp while walking an XC course (inside, v top of leg). My OH decided it would be a good idea for me to go across to paramedics to get the sting squirted with Waspeze (as we didn't have any in our first aid kit) but the paramedic was a v nice looking fit bloke, and I had to drop my jeans to get the sting sprayed.

My face was a little red......
